The children were told that Minions love to fill things with custard but Gru had some strict rules that ensured only cubes and cuboids could be filled with the yellow stuff! This meant the children had to discover and use the formula to calculate the capacity of a cube or cuboid - Length x Width x Height.
Loads of things were measured to discover how much custard the Minions would need to fill them from small cardboard boxes, to shelves, chests of drawers and even the hard court area of the playground. To fill the hard court would need around 3.750 cubic meters of custard! Wow!
